Today we're happy to announce major new additions to the Losant IoT developer platform! These include Login with GitHub, embeddable dashboard blocks, application overview page and communication log, and Facebook and Fitbit webhook verification support.
We've made the signup and login process even easier for developers that already have GitHub accounts. You'll now see a Login with GitHub option on our Sign In and Create Account pages. If you're already a Losant user, you can link your GitHub account through your account settings.
As soon as we released public dashboards, one of the first things our users asked for was the ability to embed the blocks into their own sites. Every dashboard block now has an embed icon in the top-right corner that will provide you with the simple embed code needed.
You can set the width and height and the theme you'd like to use. Below is the actual embedded block from our office plants dashboard.

We've added an application overview page to make navigating devices, workflows, and events as easy as possible. We've also added a real-time communication log to this page to provide an easy way to visualize and debug an application's communication.
Some webhook providers require a verification process to determine that you actually own the webhook. Losant will now automatically perform this verification process for Facebook Messenger and Fitbit, which makes connecting these services into your connected solutions as easy as possible.
With every new release, we really listen to your feedback. By combining your suggestions with our roadmap, we can continue to make the platform easy for you. Let us know what you think in the Losant Forums.
